The Surrey Rebels got the game’s first goal, and nothing more Monday night at the George Preston Rec Centre in Langley.

The B.C. Intermediate B Lacrosse League team was ripped 9-1 by the Langley Warriors, despite outshooting their hosts 40-37.

Andre Culjac netted the Surrey goal, a shorthanded effort assisted by Brad Olson just 1:46 into the game. Langley led 4-1 and 6-1 at the period breaks.
