Children's Fitness Tax Credit
The Government of Canada
Children's Fitness Tax Credit came into effect January
1, 2007. It is a non-refundable tax
credit on eligible amounts of up to $500 paid by parents
to register a child under the age of 16 in an eligible program of physical
activity. Please use the yellow copy of the
registration form which will be given to you once your
child is registered as the official tax receipt for the
tax credit.

The KidSport™ Fund
and
Let Kids Play Foundation
The
KidSport™ Fund is a program of Sport BC designed to
"remove the financial obstacles that prevent
underprivileged children from playing sport in British
Columbia". Each child aged 6 - 18 who applies is
eligible for up to $200 for one season of sport.
The grant is provided directly to the club or sport
organization. For

The objective of Let Kids Play Foundation is
to increase the health, enhance the
education and develop the skills of
low-income and underprivileged youth by
providing funds to enable them to
participate in organized sporting
activities. Each
child aged 17 and under who applies is
eligible for up to $200 for one season of
