Surrey Kids Physio Group looks forward to assisting Surrey Minor Lacrosse with Concussion Baseline Testing for the FOURTH year in a row!

We have worked hard again this year to ensure the process is as easy and straightforward as possible for everyone.

Take the guesswork out of return to play. Multimodal Baseline Testing is a series of physical and cognitive tests that measure healthy brain function before a sports season starts. As symptoms of a concussion will often disappear days to weeks before the brain has fully recovered, having baseline information may provide healthcare practitioners with valuable information on brain recovery that may help to inform safer return to learn, work and play decisions.

We will continue to follow the growing scientific evidence for multimodal baseline testing to support the management, treatment and rehabilitation of concussion injuries, and revise our program accordingly. Currently, these practices are recommended in sports where athletes are at higher risk for concussion such as hockey, lacrosse, football, soccer, rugby, gymnastics and cycling, among others.

Once again, this year we are offering FIVE Sundays at our Surrey Kids Physio clinic for you to get your child in and baseline tested. Sign up now to secure your spot!

Baseline tests during these scheduled team testing days will be offered at a group rate of $100/athlete and take approximately 30 minutes (regular, individual rate: $130).

The CCMI confirmation will recommend that you arrive 20-30min ahead of your appointment time. THIS IS NOT NECESSARY! Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time.
